Annual Tree and Shrub Sale
Beginning on January 3rd, bare root tree and shrub seedlings/transplants can be purchased from New York State Tree Nursery for conservation planting. By placing an order, you can help make Clinton County a cleaner, greener, healthier community for future generations.
The NYS Tree Nursery 2018 Seedling Brochure lists the trees and shrubs available for purchase. You can order trees by phone or by mail.
2018 Tree Sale Order form must be sent in by Thursday, March 31st, 2018. Once you order, the Nursery will make sure they have the trees you want and they will send you an invoice.

As always, a variety of species are available, but order early to ensure availability, as there is a limited supply.
When ordering, enter “Clinton County SWCD” as the shipper and we will pick up all tree orders in Saratoga in early May. There is a $7.00 charge per package of trees that is payable upon pickup.All orders will be available for pickup in early May at the Clinton County Soil & Water offices between 9 am-4:30 pm. Arrangements must be made to pick up your order between those times.

The program is set up to meet the needs of all county landowners, whether they own a quarter acre lot or hundreds of acres. If you are planning on a large number of trees, the District has a 3 pt hitch tree planter available for use.
