2019 Tire Round Up- Mooers
The Clinton County Soil & Water Conservation District and the Town of Mooers are working together to co-host a tire collection event.
This event is held to help Clinton County residents properly dispose of old used tires. Scrap tires can degrade, causing chemicals to leach into the soil and waterways and old tire dumps can provide fertile breeding grounds for mosquitos.
Date: Saturday June 22nd, 2019
Time: 9:00 am until Noon
Place: Town of Mooers Highway Department, Atlas Road, Mooers Forks 12959
Must be a County Resident to drop off tires. NO BUSINESSES
Cost: No Charge!
Limit: A strict limit of 10 tires per car/truck, but a waiting list will be compiled if there is room
***Collection Ends when the Truck is full. We cannot accept more tires than we have room***
NO tires on rims
NO tractor, loader or heavy equipment tires
NO solid rubber tires
NO excessive dirt, mud or stones
reserves the right to reject non-passenger and non-pick-up truck tires. Our
primary targets are residential passenger and pick-up tires, normally referred
to as R13, R14, R15, R16, R17 and R18 sizes.
Our size limits HEIGHT, not its “R.”
If your tire is taller than a yard stick, DO NOT bring it.
